Design in mind
The SeaDak positions two KODAK PIXPRO SP360 4K cameras back to back. Together, both cameras capture fully spherical 360 x 180 degree 360 video content. Optical domes designed for this camera system restore camera field of view and correct lens distortion underwater. Furthermore, cameras are easy to assemble and disassemble from housing on site. Two thumb screws secure the cameras inside the housing. The draw latch securely closes the housing. Located on the housing are two buttons for each camera. One button is for powering each camera on/off. The other button is to stop/ start recording. The SeaDAK features Multiple 3/8″ and 1/4″-20 threaded mounting points for camera pole, ROV, dive scooter, and submarine mounting.
Lastly, videos from each camera can be stitched together using post production software. Once the content from both cameras are stitched together, 360 video content is ready to be viewed . Content filmed can be viewed with the industry’s leading virtual reality head mounted displays. For Example, the Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, and Google Cardboard.
